Frishman and Associates will head national expansion and marketing business development for the California-based manufacturer of commercial refrigeration systems. J. Frishman and Associ- ates is led by John Frishman, a 30-plus-year veteran of the foodservice equipment industry. Bauscher Hepp presented its 2014 Rep of the Year Award to Crystal Lake, Ill.-based The Hode Group, Inc. Bauscher Hepp, Inc. distributes fve brands of commercial tabletop products: Bauscher, HEPP, Tafelstern, WMF and Luigi Bormioli. Chanticleer Holdings, Inc. has agreed to acquire BT's Burger Joint, a better burger con- cept in Charlotte, N.C. with $3.6 million in 2014 net revenue. With this acquisition, Chanticleer will have 30 better burger concept locations. BT's Burger Joint operates four locations in North Carolina: three in Charlotte and one in Asheville. Food Management Partners will acquire multi-concept operator Catalina Restaurant Group from Food Management Partners. Under the Coco's Bakery Restaurant and Carrows Res- taurant brands, Catalina Restaurant Group oper- ates 149 restaurants across Arizona, California and Nevada. Based in San Antonio, Food Man- agement Partners is a multi-concept operator of franchised and independent restaurant brands operating 118 restaurants in 22 states. Franke Foodservice Systems has acquired Easi-Serv Products Inc., a Canadian company that designs and manufactures unique conveyor systems that transport restaurant food orders from the preparation area to a remote point of sale, and drive-thru windows primarily for quick-service restaurants. Easi-Serv will continue to operate out of its British Columbia facility under the leadership of the present management team, including Peter Franklin, the company's vice president and general manager. It will go to market as Easi- Serv, a Franke Company. Service and support for the company's products will continue to be provided by the existing, appointed service companies around the world. Franklin Machine Products acquired Du- raparts, a southeast regional parts and supplies company focused on restaurant chains. Despite having new ownership, Duraparts will continue to go to market under the same name. FMP is a wholly owned subsidiary of Diversifed Food- service Supply, Inc.
