Kitchen Brains appointed for- mer McDonald's and Middleby Corp. executive Dave Jendal to serve as vice president, Global Business Solutions. The company also tapped former YUM! Brands executive Anna Brechoteau to serve as director of IoT Enterprise Solutions. Scott Heim has been named president of Middleby Ventless Solutions. In his new role, Heim will lead the eorts of all of the Middleby com- mercial brands with ventless cooking solutions. His respon- sibilities will include sales and marketing, new product devel- opment and approvals as well as the development of training tools. Heim also will continue in his role as president of Evo America. Quick-service restaurant industry veteran Jim Norberg has joined Papa John's as chief restaurant operations ocer. He will oversee the company's North American corporate and franchised units. Norberg spent more than 30 years with McDonald's Michael Potter was promoted to president of QualServ Solutions, a division of Middleby Corp. He joined QualServ in August 2018 as an executive vice president. Renau Electronic Laboratories hired Paul Simmonds to serve as busi- ness development manager for the de- signer and manufacturer of electronic microprocessor controller applications for the foodservice industry. Rippe Associates hired two new associates and announced a transition for one of the firm's principals. The Minneapolis-based foodservice con- sulting firm plans to transition Terry Pellegrino, a 34-year company veteran, to the role of design principal. Rippe Associates also hiredEric Goodrich and Marcy Salisbury to serve as operations project managers. Foodservice industry vet- eran David Maroun was named vice president of sales for Server Products, a Wisconsin- based manu- facturer of in portion- controlled dispensing and point-of- use holding of ambient, chilled and heated products. Ted's Montana Grill intro- duced Kirk Biondi as corporate chef for the American restau- rant chain. Prior to joining Ted's Montana Grill, he served as corporate chef at several res- taurant concepts, including Tin Drum and Maddio's Pizza. Scott Colosi retired from his post as president of Texas Roadhouse. Kent Taylor, the restaurant chain's founder and CEO, will assume the role of president.
