A 27-year veteran of the foodservice industry, Haberer spent 12 years with 2 food service equipment dealers and 15 years with 2 manufacturer rep groups. Haberer will cover the Springfield, Joplin, Lake of the Ozarks and Wichita markets for Heartland. A foodservice industry veteran with more than 10 years of experience, Honts' back- ground includes serving as an innova- tion chef for Wells Dairy, a nutritionist/ regional NutriKids specialist for Millard Schools in Nebraska (Sodexo) and as a K-12 key account manager for Acosta Sales and Marketing's Nebraska Foodservice Team. Honts' territory includes Nebraska and Iowa's Council Blus and Sioux City markets. Irinox hired Frank Becker and Michael Marsh to serve as sales managers and corporate chefs in the Southeast and Midwest regions, respectively. The Middleby Corporation promoted Meghan Daro to the newly created position of vice presi- dent of consultant services. She moves to her new corpo- rate position from Follett Ice, a division of Middleby. Tony R. Smith has been appointed chief executive ocer of MITY Inc., a manu- facturer of banquet, meeting, event and dining furniture. He served as CEO and president for International Bedding Company, chief operating ocer for Sealy Canada, and president of sales for Serta Simmons Bedding Corporation. Electrolux Professional tapped Mike Tokach to fill the newly created position of head of sales operations for North America. In this role, Tokach will bring together the processes and procedures for Electrolux and Grindmaster-Cecilware into a common platform and approach. Mitch Summerfield was named president of Oliver Packaging & Equipment Company, a Michigan- based manufacturer of foodservice equipment. Summerfield joins Oliver after previously serving as senior vice president of Evoqua Water Technologies. Panera Bread introduced Niren Chaudhary as president and CEO of the fast-casual restaurant chain. He succeeds Blaine Hurst, who was set to retire from his role as CEO of Panera eectiveMay 23, 2019. Hurst will remain on Panera's board of directors and become vice chairman. Hurst will also join JAB Holdings, the privately held company that owns Panera and a variety of other restaurant concepts. Parts Town's chief financial ocer, Lori Sherwood, has been named to Crain's Chicago Business' list of Notable Women Executives Over 50. The award recog- nizes female leaders from disparate industries and backgrounds who are transforming Chicago. Denny Marie Post has retired from her role as president and CEO of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. Pattye Moore, Red Robin board chair, will serve as in- terim CEO until the company names a successor. Singer EVI added Jamie Gwynne Lackey to the newly created position of busi- ness development/sales manager. She will work with new clients to re- search their business and equipment needs for the foodservice design, equip- ment and supply company. Lackey's prior foodservice industry experience includes working as a regional sales manager for Empire Marketing Group and as a sales representative for Alto Hartley Inc. Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group promoted Jeremy James to director of engineering from his previ- ous role of engineering manager. The company also named Dan Hinkle vice president of sales op- erations. Hinkle will work with the manufacturer's Master-Bilt and Nor-Lake lines. Hinkle's 10-plus years of experience in the food- service equipment industry includes working with such companies as Welbilt, Staco Energy Products and the Hobart Corporation. TableCraft Products promoted Sandy Hoyt to director of chain ac- counts. The company also hired Janelle Tassone to replace Hoyt as director of sales – west. Bruce Deckard has joined the Thermo-Kool team as a regional sales manager for the manufacturer's mid- western and eastern U.S. territories. Vollrath Company promoted Henry Case and Jill VanMenxel from regional sales managers to director of sales roles, both of which are newly created positions within the Vollrath Foodservice division. Case assumes the role of direc- tor of sales for Serving Systems and Components. VanMenxel takes on the role of director of sales for Smallwares and Countertop Equipment. Tony R.
