The location will house 175 engineers and pro- fessional staff. It will also feature a product showcase area, seen here, that highlights the various items that comprise the company's lines of products. The facility has a variety of features, including testing labs and kitchens that will help engineers determine how to further enhance disposer technology. In tandem with the grand opening, InSinkErator also announced its commitment of $200,000 over 5 years to Higher Expectations for Racine County, a collaborative initiative that engages community partners, aligns efforts, and maximizes resources to promote excellence and equity in education and employment outcomes in Racine County. Homer Laughlin Event Taps into the Creativity of Hundreds of Children More than 600 children and their parents came together for Homer Laughlin's 10th annual Kids' Paint-A-Plate event. Held in conjunction with the Top of West Virginia Arts Council, kids explored their creativity by decorating their very own plates. Partici- pating kids were given free reign over their designs, with imagination being their only limit. The sponsors then fired the plates and the children can now use them at home.
