That's because every night, from Feb. 3 to April 27, Universal Studios Florida celebrates Mardi Gras in true New Orleans style. You'll €nd Cajun and Creole cuisine, a Mardi Gras parade, colorful costumes, street performers, bead tossing and Zydeco bands. On select nights, major- label musicians perform, as well. Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theater Distance from OCCC: 1.1 miles Tough day on the trade show "oor? Laughter could be the best medicine. Head over to the nearby Improv Comedy Club on International Drive to see established acts from across the country and globe, as well as new and upcoming comedians. Headliners hit the stage on Friday and Saturday nights. If you want to try your own hand and really impress your boss or client, open mic night is on Wednesdays. Advanced ticket purchase is recommended. House of Blues Distance from OCCC: 6.6 miles Music feeds the soul, and no music is better food for the soul than the blues. House of Blues Orlando books the hottest names in blues music. Stop in for dinner or drinks and stay for the live music. Go early to watch nightly live acts in the courtyard before enjoying dinner at Blues Kitchen. On Friday and Saturday nights, stick around after dinner or stop by later for performances beginning at 10 p.m. Kings Orlando Distance from OCCC: 2 miles Part of Boston-based Kings Dining & Entertainment group, the Orlando outpost on International Drive offers 30,000 square feet of fun, including bowling, billiards, bocce ball and table games, plus a chef-driven restaurant and two retro-chic cocktail bars. Add in giant-screen HDTVs and a state-of-the-art sound system and you might just have found your ideal, late-night spot to shake off the stresses of the show. Icebar Distance from OCCC: less than 1 mile Can't stand the heat? Cool your heels after the show at Icebar. Billed as the world's largest permanent ice bar, with more than 70 tons of hand- carved ice, this distinctive venue includes both chilly and cozy evening experiences.
