Foodservice equipment manufacturer Pacojet AG introduced Swiss Culinary Equipment Inc. as its new exclusive distributor in the U.S. Panera Bread has reached an agreement to acquire Au Bon Pain. In addition, Panera announced Ron Shaich will step down as CEO effective Jan. 1, 2018. Blaine Hurst, current president of Panera, will replace Shaich at that time. The first Princi bakery and cafe in the U.S. has opened inside the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Seattle. Boelter Event Connects Craft Brewers and Restaurant Operators Boelter Foodservice Design, Equipment & Supply hosted Paired, an educational and networking event, at the dealer's Chicago location. This event, co-hosted by the dealer's sister company Boelter Beverage, connected craft brewers and res- taurateurs by providing an educational forum about building a beer-and-food pairing program.
