Betco Corporation promoted Brad Betz to president and Denise Lennard to COO. The Boelter Companies Inc. named Jason Prondzinski vice president of sales, responsible for leading the Wisconsin-based foodservice equip- ment and supplies dealer's project-related business. Prondzinski joins The Boelter Companies from True Manufacturing. Crysalli Artisan Water named Mark Smith national service manager. His back- ground includes 22 years of experience in the carbonated beverage segment. Multiconcept operator Disruptive Restaurant Group named Scott Kleckner senior vice president of restaurant opera- tions. Kleckner will oversee the operations and expansion of all Disruptive Restaurant Group's international stand-alone restau- rants, which include the Cleo, Katsuya, and Fi'lia concepts. Tom Brennan was named COO of CKE Restaurants Holdings, parent company of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's. Brennan comes to CKE from 7-Eleven. His background also includes work with Target Corpora- tion and six years of active duty as part of the U.S. Army's Armor Corps. Brock Bodart was promoted to president and COO of Dykes Foodser- vice Solutions, a Huntsville, Ala.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership. He previously served as the dealership's regional vice president. East Coast Wings + Grill, a North Carolina-based casual-dining restaurant chain, appointed Mark Lyso to serve as its executive vice president of operations. Edward Don & Company promoted Susan Petzel to category manager for equipment. She most recently served as project manager for the dealer's Foodser- vice Equipment Division. Kat Cole has been appointed to the newly created position of COO and president, North America, of FOCUS Brands, the franchisor of Auntie Anne's, Carvel, Cinnabon, McAlister's Deli, Moe's Southwest Grill and Schlotzsky's. Cole joined FOCUS Brands seven years ago as president of Cinnabon and for the past three years has served as president of FOCUS Brands Global Channels group. After 27 years with the company, Bill O'Donoghue will retire from his position as vice president of foodservice sales at Inter- Metro, effective August 31. Nancy Fera will replace O'Donoghue, effective Sept. 1. Logan's Roadhouse hired David Catalano as COO. Catalano previously served as COO of Ignite Restaurant Group's Joe's Crab Shack and Brick House Tavern + Tap and was also formerly COO of Hard Rock International. Kenneth Megarr has joined Midea, a manufacturer of commercial microwave ov- ens, as a product manager. Megarr brings 30 years of foodservice industry experience to Midea, having worked for such companies as Panasonic, Nabisco and General Foods. Middle Eastern fast-casual chain Naf Naf Grill appointed Paul Damico to the role of CEO. Damico was formerly presi- dent, North America, of FOCUS Brands. Jamie Keller became executive vice president of retail and foodservice for The Oneida Group. He replaces Corrie Byron, who left the company to pursue new interests. Weldon Spangler is the new CEO of Papa Murphy's Holdings. Jean Birch, interim CEO, remains chair of the com- pany's board of directors. Premier Equipment Group, a Georgia-based independent manufactur- ers' rep firm, added three new members to its team: Tom Stritch joined as a partner and the firm's senior territory manager for North Carolina and South Carolina; Paul Remoll came on board as territory sales manager for South Carolina and the coastline of both North Carolina and South Carolina; and Kristen Nygard joined Premier to provide inside sales support as customer service for the firm's customers in the Carolinas. Charlotte, N.C.-based Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill named Ken Green its president and COO. Prior to joining Sal- sarita's, he served as president and CEO of Easy Street Restaurant Group. T&S Brass and Bronze Works hired Cyndi Neoh to serve as regional sales manager for Southeast Asia for the manu- facturer of foodservice and commercial plumbing products. Unified Brands promoted Bob McNamara to the newly created position of product line manager for its warewash- ing product line. McNamara joined Power Soak in 2006, holding positions of region- al sales director and VP of institutional and multi-unit sales. McNamara became a product line specialist for warewash- ing when Unified Brands acquired Power Soak in 2012. Bonnie Kostecka has retired from her post as manager of Villeroy & Boch's Southern California territory. Mary Larson has replaced Kostecka. Vulcan hired Kimberly Robinette to serve as business development manager for its line of steam cooking equipment. Zink Foodservice hired Wilson Villarrubia to serve as director of ventila- tion services for the Ohio-based indepen- dent manufacturers' rep firm.
