In addition, the following foodser- vice professionals are the recipients of FE&S' annual Top Achiever Awards: • Top Achiever — Dealer: David Ellingson, president, Bargreen Ellingson, Tacoma, Wash. • Top Achiever — Consultant: Beth Kuczera, president, Equipment Dynamics Inc., Chicago • Top Achiever — Service Agent: Paul Toukatly, chief operations officer, Duffy's Equipment Services Inc., Sauquoit, N.Y. • Top Achiever — Rep: Stacey Stahl, co-president, Ritten Associates, Minneapolis FE&S will present these awards during its 2017 Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards Gala, which will take place Sat., May 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. During the past 5 years, Johnson- Lancaster has grown its business to more than $108 million in annual revenues from $43 million, making it the 16th largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the country, ac- cording to FE&S' Distribution Giants Study. "Johnson-Lancaster's success has come through a thoughtful approach to working with its customers and supply chain partners," said Joseph Carbonara, FE&S' editorial director. "Under the leadership of Brad Lancaster, the com- pany continues to raise the bar in such areas as project management and re- cruiting new people to the industry. By understanding the role their customers want them to play, Johnson-Lancaster handles each project in an effective and efficient manner." Hall of Fame Award Freeman has been with Microsoft the past 11-plus years. His professional background includes manag- ing corporate dining with Hewlett Packard and as a consultant in the college and university sector. He is a past presi- dent of the Society for Hospitality and Foodservice Management, was the John L. Hennessy traveler award in 2016 and received the Richard Ysmael Distinguished Service Award. In 2012 he and the Microsoft team won a Silver Plate Award from the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association. "Under Mark Freeman's leadership Microsoft's Global Dining Services team continues to raise the bar for excellence and professionalism among business and industry foodservice operations," Carbonara said. "One of Mark's hallmarks is the way he col- laborates with other industry segments. He likes to share what he's learned for the betterment of the industry. This type of transparency only makes the foodservice industry more effective and efficient in its delivery of hospitality to its customers and illustrates Mark's leadership capabilities." Top Achiever Awards FE&S' Top Achiever Awards recog- nize individual members of the supply chain who also excel in adding value on the customers' terms.
