Restaurant industry veteran Frank Paci
is the new chief executive officer for
Corner Bakery Café and Il Fornaio. Paci
assumes the position previously held by
Mike Hislop who will remain chairman
of the board.
Nico Murillo has joined Dickey's
Barbecue Restaurants Inc. as a research
and development chef. Murillo comes to
Dickey's from PepsiCo and has 15 years
of experience as a chef and 8 years in
research and development.
Bill Mitchell now serves as president,
Dunkin' Brands International. Scott
Murphy is senior vice president, Dunkin'
Donuts Operations U.S. and Canada, and
Weldon Spangler was promoted to senior
vice president, Baskin-Robbins U.S. and
Canada. Coinciding with the organiza-
tional moves, Dunkin' Brands consoli-
dated its international business under
Mitchell's leadership, giving him responsi-
bility for nearly 8,500 Dunkin' Donuts and
Baskin-Robbins restaurants located in 61
countries outside the U.S.
Multiconcept operator Famous
Brands International appointed Jona-
than Drake to serve as chief executive of-
cer. Famous Brands is the parent company
for TCBY Yogurt and Mrs. Fields Cookies.
Mihyar Mohamed
has been appointed
vice president and
general manager of
the North America
Cooking Chain and Re-
tail division for Vulcan
and the ITW Food Equipment Group.
As part of his new role, Mohamed will
work with Vulcan and Baxter Business
Units. He joined ITW in early 2014 as
vice president of strategic marketing
and global accounts.
